Parents vs Wild

I don't believe that McCandless and Ruess went on their periless journey because of their troubles at home, but the issues that they had with their parents might of had a small affect on their thoughts but not a major factor. I personally enjoy my family a lot and i enjoy the wild, sometimes I would go camping in the wild with my family. So for many people, family problems don't normally make us want to go in the wild. More like into the city to get away from them. Chris didn't exaggerate his family issues as an excuse because he loved to travel before he found out about his father cheating.

Chris McCandless Rhetorics

While Krakauer has great writing when telling the story of Chris McCandless, my rhetorics in my writing would be somewhat different as well as has the same fell that Krakauer shows in his writing of McCandless. Firstly Krakauer isn't basing his whole writing on McCandless alone, he includes other people that has similarities in McCandless's quest to Alaska. This is a great way to show that he wasn't a special case, but doesn't have complete proof and jumps into their shoes. When really the only ones that can tell the tales are the ones that we're right there with the person. Otherwise its strictly knowledge based instead of facts about McCandless. So my rhetoric would include alot more investigation and maybe photographic evidence rather thank what these people are telling Krakauer.

Family Troubles -.-

If i was in the same situation that Chris McCandless, dealing with the conflicts between him and his family, and wanted to be adopted by a friend that I spent a lot of time with, I would mostly likely wouldn't like to be adopted to another family. I believe that families always go through disagreements and hardships, but getting a complete new family is going over the line. Wanting to get away from family without any bonds could be a good idea if your parents dont respect your views or anything. Having connects with other families would be to much for me to handle and my family would be the main family and i wouldnt need any other family.

Presidential Campaign

When i heard the news of a black man and a woman running for the presidential campaign i was astounded and glad that they were trying to make a change even though a lot of people in the U.S would not like it. After they started running for president I started watching more politics than I ever did before. This also happened to many of my friends and it was good to see people engaged in something they never had liked before. It was sort of over whelming how strongly a lot of people felt about it, and how much people protested and things like that. I'm usually not the person to care much for voting or any type of political acts, but viewing this campaign made me want to get up and go vote (even though I wasn't old enough at the time :P).
